Full-time entry level administrative position to begin July 1, 2009. Position will require substantial classroom instruction along with providing leadership and coordination for a team of librarians participating in information literacy instruction.

Responsibilities include planning and evaluating library instruction for a variety of classes, both undergraduate and graduate; using presentation software to design and develop effective methods of library instruction including online tutorials; providing outreach related information to faculty, staff and student groups; assisting with staff training in the use of electronic resources.

ALA accredited MLS (or equivalent) required; prior experience in teaching, instructional media/design, computer-based resources and/or library instruction is highly desired; skills in using technology in an educational or library setting, knowledge of microcomputers, word processing, database, spreadsheets and automated library systems required; excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
