2010 LISSA Elections

Saturday, April 3rd at midnight is the deadline to nominate yourself for a LISSA officer position for the 2010-2011 academic year! Please e-mail Natalie Couch off the listserv (couchn@email.sc.edu) with your name, a brief bio of yourself, your area of interest at SLIS, and why you want to be President, Vice President, Secretary, or Treasurer if you wish to run. This bio will help your fellow classmates vote in the upcoming election. If you are unsure about officer responsibilities, please see this document for more details: http://students.libsci.sc.edu/lissa/documents/constitution.doc.
If you are considering running but are not yet a LISSA member, it isn't too late! You can visit the LISSA blog and pay your membership dues (only $15 for a lifetime membership): http://students.libsci.sc.edu/lissa/member.html. LISSA does so many wonderful things to foster the professional environment at SLIS and create a sense of community. Consider joining and/or running today!
